THE BRIEF

THE SOLUTION

I was contacted by The Birmingham Rep Theatre and asked to help out with the promotion of their upcoming play, ‘The Honey Man’. Their main goal was for the play to appeal to a more youthful target audience. I would also be asked to produce a promo trailer and help out with any other design related requirements. My official role was titled as ‘Assistant Digital Artist'.

Once the redesign for the main promo flyer was signed off, I moved on to helping with the actual production. The Honey Man' used digital projection within the play and there would be key scenes within it that would need specific backgrounds and actions to suit the story. These edits would include things such as separating background elements, composition changes and recolouring clothes. After this, I went on to produce the teaser trailer for the play. This was a great project to work on and it was a pleasure to see everything come together in the end when i got to actually watch the play.
